A Cisco and Microsoft joint statement on SIP, Cisco UC IntegrationTM for Microsoft Office Communicator, and Remote Call Control interoperability is now available.

Please use this public statement for clarity surrounding some of the conflicting or confusing messages you have heard regarding Cisco UCTM Integration for Microsoft Office Communicator support, SIP interoperability, or RCC.

This statement is posted on our Microsoft alliance site on cisco.com (http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/pr67/pr41/solutions/index.html#k).

A direct link to the complete statement on cisco.com is here: http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/pr67/pr41/solutions/uci_microsoft_cisco_jointstatement.html

The statement also appears on Microsoft’s site.

Microsoft Download Center: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=178900

This statement will be updated as new interoperability details become available.  Additional information can be found here: http://www.cisco.com/web/partners/pr67/pr41/partners_strategic_alliance_.html
