Agents Ready/Not Ready per Queue

Is there a way to get the number of agents ready/not ready for a contact service queue?  We are trying to use the CSQID returned with the AgentState event, but when that CSQID is used in QUERY_QUEUE_STATISTICS_REQ, an error is returned that the CSQID is invalid.  Is there a better place to get the CSQID?
