Collaboration 10.5 sandbox: Jabber iPhone does not log in to Phone Services

I can log in with the iPhone Jabber client but it only connects to IM/P and cannot register to CUCM / "Phone Services".  Should this work by default in the Collaboration sandbox or is additional configuration required?
