What will happen if we have a customer who has 300 users with 79XX phones and we use Basic user license instead of Enhanced user. Does it make any difference? and How the Call Manager can detect this difference?
It looks at the phone model with CUCM 9 and realizes it should be enhanced not basic. Only 6911/21 are basic

CUCM will look at the user licenses and borrow from an upper tier if you have spare. So if it find out you have enhanced but your phone needs basic ELM will give it to the lower tiers.
