I need to create a IT Hotline so that users can dial in (inside or outside) for IT support. When they call, it will ring 3 helpdesk's cell phone directly. I need to know where should I implement and any documentation.
I am using UCM and Unity 7.0.
Use single number reach. when they call the internal number you can create a single number reach destination for three alternate numbers that will ring simultaneously
I do a research on SNR. However, it is mainly used for mobility. I would like to know how it can be configured to ring multiple IT techs at the same time. Once any tech pick up the call, it will stop ringing the other techs.
I wonder if hunt group will work in this scenario.
Yes it is for mobility but your question was ringing external users not internal. If it is internal use CUCM HG, you can do longest idle, FIFO, broadcast and circular.
My point was if you wanted a blast out to external users then use SNR. Once a tech picks up, it will stop ringing other destinations
