The new Selling Business Outcomes (SBO) course helps Cisco and Cisco Partner Sales People to develop their sales skills to help customers reach their business goals with Cisco.

 

This course will help you and your Cisco Partners:

 

- Better understand your current business environments

- Learn how technology solutions can meet your customers’ long-term needs

- Change the conversation to address growth goals

- Grow your business

 

NOTE: Selling Business Outcomes exam will be required by our Cisco Partners in order to attain and/or renew Cisco Resale Specialisations.

 

Important Dates to Remember:

 

Effective May 1, 2015, Selling Business Outcomes exam (#810-401) will be required for Account Manager role in the following specialisations:

 

·      Advanced Internet of Things Connected Safety and Security

·      Advanced Internet of Things Industry Expert

·      Advanced Internet of Things Manufacturing

·      Advanced Service Provider Architecture

·      Advanced Service Provider Routing Technology

·      Advanced Service Provider Mobility Technology

·      Advanced Service Provider Optical Technology

·      Advanced Video

 

Note: Any new applications or renewal applications for any of the above specialisation taking place from 1 May 2015 onwards must already have Account Manager holding Selling Business Outcomes

 

Effective August 1, 2015, Selling Business Outcomes exam (#810-401) will be required for Account Manager role in the  following specializations:

·      Advanced Unified Access

·      Advanced Core and WAN

·      Advanced Security Architecture

Selling Business Outcomes Training and Exam Details

 

·      Training format: An online, self-paced course. Guided exercises, examples, and scenarios allow you to apply new skills. Challenge questions appear at the end of each lesson.

·      Training duration: 6 hours

·      Training course cost: Free

 

·      Exam cost:  $150

·      Exam duration: 1 hour

 

If you prefer to take the SBO training course in a classroom, in late February Cisco Learning Partners will announce a schedule for instructor-led, one-day classes to cover this course material. Take an in-person session together with your team. The cost of training sessions will be determined by the Cisco Learning Partner.
