How is DevNet involved?
We'll be there to help you develop using Cisco Spark and Tropo APIs:
Spark: It’s a persistent chat and room-based messaging product that brings teams together instantly in rooms so they can send messages, video chat, and share files, all in one place. The Spark APIs allow the integration of the Spark features via an easy-to-use set of REST APIs which has requests for managing rooms and memberships, posting messages, and registering webhooks for real-time message notifications.
Tropo: It’s a cloud API that enables you to embed real-time communications within your web-based and mobile applications.
Using the web technology you already know (within an easy-to-learn, easy-to-implement scripting environment) you’ll be able to enhance your application with text messaging, call recording, conferencing, text-to-speech and speech recognition. Everything’s included in the cloud-hosted API, so there’s nothing to install and no carrier connections to worry about. It’s available worldwide with phone numbers in dozens of countries and speech in 75 languages.
