We held a workshop to get participants fully up-to-speed with three Cisco technologies in readiness for the hackathon:
- EIoT (Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) USB-to-ethernet adapter that allows simple Python scripting to pull information from enterprise sensors across the network.)
- Tropo (exposes a cloud API for creating applications that use phone calls, voice recognition or text messages. We will introduce you to its easy-to-learn, easy-to-implement scripting environment designed for creating a wide variety of communications applications.
