Is there a way to designate a CUIC Custom and or Imported report as a 'Stock' report so users can only select 'Save As?'

I am not sure if that can be done however, I would create as an administrator, put the 'original' in a folder with only the administrators permissions. Put the 'new' Saved as report in a public folder that everyone who needs it has permissions to!

Or just limit people to read & execute only.

Would be interested to know if it can be done though.

    Cheers Sarah
    Kind Regards

In CUIC 9.0 we made some changes to permissions.  One of them was to reduce the Read-Write-Execute options to just Write and Execute.  The other change was to enable SaveAs if the user had Execute permissions on the report.  So, starting with 9.0, you can grant Execute permissions on a report to enable "SaveAs."  Write permission is still required to do a "Save."

    Hi Carmen,

Sounds like there are alot of good things happening in 9.0, the objective now is to get everyone upgraded :-)

if you modify the cisco XML tag to true ( <cisco>true</cisco> ), that will prevent users from modifying the original report just like the Cisco stock reports.
