    Hello,
We have had, in some occasion, timeout errors when requesting AXL SOAP from a generated .Net Web Service proxy. The first query failed although the same query a few second later was working while SSL session was not expired. The error seemed to be related to SSL certificate and I have been advised by a Cisco System Engineer to install the certificate locally. We have followed this advice carrefully and have avoided any new timeout error.
I have a customer who cannot deploy the certificate on thousands on PC and they tell us it will not change anything, as the SSL certificate is always downloaded.
Does anybody has encountered this issue ? Do you confirm deploying a SSL certificate is useless ?
    Regards,

Have not heard of any issues like this.  If you can identify any problems in the AXL service where SSL, HTTP or other protocols do not seem to be correct we'll be happy to take a look.  A network packet capture (a la Wireshark) along with detailed AXL logs may give some clues...
