    Hi all,

We are planning to update our call centre solution from IPCC 7.5 to UCCE 9.
We have to upgrade IPIVR from v7 (windows server) to v9 (Linux server).

Does anyone know what is required to migrate our AEF scripts from the v7 windows server to v9 Linux server ?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Minar,
The IPIVR Editor Steps are designed to be backward compatible ie You can use 7.0 Script in 9.0 IPIVR without any changes to the script.Only change you need if you have hard coded any Windows specific paths in your Script (Something like C:\Folder\test.txt). then you will have to remove Windows paths from your script and put your  required files into System.GetProperty(“uccx.customer.dir”)  due to the migration to VOS platform.  done for increased security. So now you will have access to only this  folder if you need any folder for custom use.
To Access these files from CLI you need to use following commands
    • file uccx view: This command will be used to view custom files created by UCCX scripts.
Syntax: file uccx view custom_file file-spec
    • file uccx list: This command will list custom files created by UCCX scripts.
Syntax: file uccx list custom_file file-spec
    • file uccx get: This command will transfer the custom files created by UCCX scripts outside the box.
Syntax: file uccx get custom_file file-spec
    • file uccx tail: This command will tail a custom file created by a UCCX script.
Syntax: file uccx tail custom_file file-spec
    • file uccx delete: This command will delete a custom file created by a UCCX script.
Syntax: file uccx delete custom_file file-spec
    • file uccx dump: This command will dump the contents of a file on the UCCX custom files area. Syntax: file uccx dump custom_file file-spec

You can refer to CLI Reference Guide for more details on the above commands.

    Hope this helps.

[quote=Thank you so much Sharik for your answer.
On IP-IVR 7 windows server, we have also some java module (.JAR).
Do you know how we can convert those JAR files from Windows to Linux ?
