    Hello:

I have deleted a user with CUPI script, this user is integrated in LDAP, after I am trying create the same user but the CUC not found this user in LDAP.

It is possible create this user and he is integrated to LDAP from the web page?

    Regards.

Interesting. I was actually working on this yesterday and as soon as I deleted the (LDAP) user, they were immediately available for import again.
This article was helpful to me: [url=http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unity_Connection_Provisioning_Interface_(CUPI)_API_--_User_Import]http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/Cisco_Unity_Connection_Provisioning_Interface_(CUPI)_API_--_User_Import

    The usual questions...
    • Can you verify the user was deleted successfully (via the GUI or REST call?)
    • If you do a direct GET /vmrest/import/users/ldap?limit=5 do you get any results?
    • You're trying to import and not create a new user, right?
    Thanks! Derry

    Hello Derry:

I have verified that the user is deleted sucessfully via the GUI.

I have checked that the user not found in  GET /vmrest/import/users/ldap, but in the CUCM the user is active in ldap syncronize column.

I can import the user from the CUCM but cannot import from the LDAP, because in LDAP the user not found and the user found in CUCM.

    CUC: 8.6
    CUCM: 8.6
    LDAP: Active Directory 2008

    Thanks.

    Hello Sascha:

This command don't resolved my issue. Thanks.

Maybe the issue is in my script. I have created a script in PHP that I have attached in the post.

After executing the script, the user don't returned to appear in LDAP queries CUC.

Hmm... just to make sure I understand... the user still shows up in a User Search? (Your comment about "active in LDAP synchronize" throws me a bit...) If they still show up in the User Search, I'm thinking they're not truly deleted (are you getting any errors with your DELETE command in your php script?)

If I delete a user (say, Sally Brown), she no longer shows up in the Users - Users search.
I can find her in the Users - Import Users - Find End Users in LDAP Directory, which is where I would expect it.
When I assign a template and import her, she of course no longer shows up in Find End Users in LDAP Directory, but now shows up in the Users - Users search with the "Integrate with LDAP" radio button selected.

Unlike Call Manager where there's a waiting period to delete users, I've found that Unity is pretty instantaneous - I'm able to delete/import the same user several times in a row. If you do the process manually through the GUI, can you import/delete?

    Hello Derry:

I have deleted a user using CUPI, the user is not found in user search but neither is in import to LDAP. The user is found in server LDAP.

Manually, I can delete user and i can import from ldap server, the issue is when I delete the user with CUPI API and I need create de same voicemail user, in thsi case the user is not found in import LDAP.

I need that this user is available for import from the LDAP. do you know a command for resolver this issue?

Here's a thread that I believe Sascha was on to:
    http://developer.cisco.com/web/cuc/forums/-/message_boards/message/5834837#_19_message_5834926

(I didn't have that issue, so I can't vouch for it...) Just throwing out a few ideas...
Is your LDAP sync running correctly every night?
If you manually issue the commands (not using your PHP script), does it make a difference?
That's about it for my limited bag of tricks. Keep digging! Derry
