We need to get access to the UCCX historical data without using Crystal Reports inside the reporting center. We want to integrate our own reporting application using data polled from the UCCX summary table every 15mins or so.
Can someone point us in the right place to start? We've gone thru the Cisco Unified Contact Center Express Historical Reporting Administrator and Developer Guides but it doesnt detail how to do this or even if it is possible.
    Thanks

    Hello Mike,
You could  extract the information from the real time tables of the database, for that you need an external server with the appropriate driver installed and also to know where is the information that you’re looking for.

To know where to look, you can search in Cisco web site for: “Database schema” and your version of contact center express
I am not an expert but this would be the right direction to start.

    Regards,
    Daniel

    Mike,

If you are using CCX 8.x you need to setup the password for the Historical Reporting user in Password Management under Tools menu in AppAdmin (on BOTH servers). This will set the password for the "uccxhruser" in the Informix database. From there it is nothing more than a ODBC database that you can access.

This should give you the ability to query all tables, execute procedures, and create your own procedures.

If you are using 7.x or earlier, the same concept applies, but you need to create a local Windows user on the Server, then give that user access inside MS SQL with the permissions needed. Then access the database via Integrated Authentication. The trick is to login to a workstation with the same user name (not Domain based) and create an ODBC connection. Or create that user account on your system and use that name as the owner of the service that will be running what will talk to the database. Or just upgrade to 8.x.
