    Hi Folks

Is there a way to verify the midlet is running correctly with the Phone Services API, without logging into each
IP phone and looking at a screenshot manually?

    Thanks
    Pete

    Hi Pete,

There simplest thing you can do is download PhoneView from Unified FX (http://www.unifiedfx.com)

The free version allows you to see up to 50 device screens at the same time, here is a screenshot:

If you need to see/control more than 50 phones you can request a trial license from here:
    http://www.unifiedfx.com/phoneview/trial

    Also,
It's the most advanced remote phone control application available, so I'm certain you will find it useful ;)

    Thanks

    Stephen

Hi Stephen, Thanks but I'm only looking for the API information to get the Midlet information for a phone attached to a Telepresence endpoint. This is what I've been told and would like to verify "There is no way to verify the midlet is running correctly without logging into each IP phone and looking at a screenshot manually"
    Regards
    Pete

Can't think of any other way other than the screenshot URL /CG/Screenshot (what PhoneView uses).

Perhaps if you know the midlet is supposed to listen on a particular port you can test whether that port will accept a connection?
