    Hey,

    my problem is, that i can not set the "asciiLabel" attribute. I use the addDeviceProfile method and than the my SOAP contains the following string: .....<lines><line index ="1"><asciiLabel>ANY NAME</asciiLabel></line></lines>....

    i get a positv feedback when i create the device profile and all other attributes were setted correct.

    when i set the the asciiLabel via the web interface (named ASCII Line Text Label) and make then the getDeviceProfile there is no asciiLabel!

    does anyone have an idea?

    greetings

    i dont really know  if i understand yout post correctly, but when i build my soap message looks like this

    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope xmlns:SOAP-ENV=\"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\" xmlns:xsi=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance\" xmlns:xsd=\"http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema\">
    <SOAP-ENV:Body>

    <axl:" + axlRequest + " xmlns:axl=\"http://www.cisco.com/AXL/API/7.1\" xsi:schemaLocation=\"http://www.cisco.com/AXL/API/7.1 http://ccmserver/schema/axlsoap.xsd\" sequence=\"1234\">  axlParams </axl:" + axlRequest + ">

    </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

    do you specify the cucm version in the header?
    i.e.;
    SOAPAction: "CUCMB ver=7.1"

    if you don't specify it, the default schema will be applied, which is 6.0, and ascciLabel is not supported in that version...

    the sdk of the cucm and i dont know how to set the header corretly. Can
    you help me?
    when i tried it i got the following response of the axl api
    "The prefix "SOAP_ENV" for element "SOAP_ENV:Header" is not bound."

    My hole Soap message looks like this:

    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
    xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi
    "http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
    xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

              <SOAP_ENV:Header>SOAPAction: CUCMB ver=7.1</SOAP_ENV:Header>

              <SOAP-ENV:Body>

              <axl:axlRequest xmlns:axl="http://www.cisco.com/AXL/API/7.1"
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.cisco.com/AXL/API/7.1
    http://ccmserver/schema/axlsoap.xsd" sequence="1234">axlParams</axl:axlRequest>

              </SOAP-ENV:Body>

              </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>

    The SOAPAction call needs to go into the request header (MimeHeaders), not the SOAPHeader.

    What language are you using???  In the tread I was referring to above, I show how at add it in Java.  I am sure a quick Google, will show you how to do it in a different language.
