    Hi,
I heard somewhere that cisco had made the WebView templates available for CUIC...does anybody know how to get them?
We're going from 7.5 to 8.5 and I wanted to provide them to my supervisors.

    thanks

    Hi Luis,

you could see it on the webview server on the C drive. Search with the folder name custom.. you could see all the queries which are used in webview.

You could do some modification and put it on CUIC

they are included in the zip file; the files that start with DEF are the definitions.

also, the webview reports can be imported straight into CUIC without any modifications (weel, so far I haven't ran into any problems).
Just copy the query from the srd file.  The query string is between the "retrieve=" and " arguments="
Create the report definition and set the Query Type as "Anonymous Block", choose your data source real time or historical.
Paste the query string and don't change anything.
Click on Create Parameters (3 parameters will be created)
Change the @end_date and the @start_date parameters to DATETIME
Change the other parameter to DECIMAL
Click Create Fields (the fields will be created)
    Click on the Parameters Tab
    Select the DECIMAL parameter
    Click Edit
On the Value List drop down choose the corresponding value list (i.e. if you DECIMAL parameter was @agtteam_list then choose the Agent Teams value list)
    Click Update Field
You can now play with the fields' formats and footers.
Create the Report and do your groupings (i.e. for an agent reports you would want two groupings 1 = Team Names, 2 = Agent Names.

these steps have worked for me so far in importing 15 webview reports to CUIC 8.5.2

CUIC doesn't have any Outbound Option reports so you can import the webview reports straight in.

I agree, but the biggest problem is if I use anonymous blocks we don't get the option of choosing relative dates.

I want the reps where I can get the option of selecting relative dates

unfortunately no; you need the Premium license to access the Report Definition designer.
But I believe you can import reports (custom reports) with the standard license.  I'm not 100% but I think that when a report gets exported its definition and value lists get also included in the export, so once you imported the required definition and value list will be created.
Any particular report that you're looking for?  Would you like me to send you the Webview reports I converted?

With standard license, Report Definition tab itself will be not visible. So we can not import report definition.

Managed to find teh answer in a previous post

The templates are for 8.0.4 and up. Im running 8.0.1.

The templates call for enabling permalinks which are not supported in 8.0.1.

To import the templates just delete the following xml entry from the templates:

    <enablePermalink>true</enablePermalink>

Try copying the SQL query and run it directly against the DB. If you see the O/p then its related to CUIC.

Also can you point it to AWDB, becasue i have see issues where it will not produce any o/p if you use HDS (as the view needed for the query will be in AWDB, not HDS). To change that, go to that report definition, select the new data source, ceeate the fields, save it. Go bacvk to that report, click edit, you will get an message "Underlying report definiton was changed, click ok to update", here click ok.

That's strange... make sure the report definition is pointing to the data source for the awdb database.
In my system, all my data sources point to the AWDB database.  So even though this report's definition says that is using data source "UCCE HISTORICAL" it is really pointing to my awdb database.

this is another version of the Agent Logout report (this one includes logout duration).

Anyone have any luck rebuilding Agent31 report from webview? Infomaker name was peragt31. I have imported it via the Anonymous Block method just like you guys lay out in this thread (been successful with this method many times) but it does not bring over LoginDateTime from the SQL report which is critical in my opinion (no idea why CUICs SQL engine isn't picking this returned value up). When I run it direct in Query Analyzer on the HDS it works without issue and returns LoginDateTime. After much messing with the original query from CUIC, I finally created a stored prod out of the original query on the HDS passing in Start and End Dates and it works when built as Anonymous Block in CUIC, but returns every agent (stay with me). Now the issue I am having is if I setup the Stored Procedure to accept parameters StartDate, EndDate, and AgentList (Agent.SkillTargetID) I can only pass in one agent at a time and I have to type in the SkillTargetID in the filter, it will not bring up the Agent Value List so I can select multiple agents.

I am open to a fix any way possible, but I am stuck unfortunately.

    Thanks,
    Fred

PS. I also tried building the report in CUIC as type Stored Procedure and it gave me an error complaining about nested SQL, did not dig into this too much but was thinking some of the temp tables in the original Agent31 SQL were contributing to that error.

    Hi Fred

    Did you try the following:
    1. edit report definition
    2. edit the properties of the field: SkillTargetID (or Agent ID, however it is named in your query)
    3. Under Value List select the Value List "Agents"
    4. save
    5. Under Properties of the reportdefinition select SkillTargetID as your Key Criteria Field.

Hope this will help you that you are able to select the agents out of the value list.

    Good Luck!
    Stefanie

    Thanks Stefanie,

I went back in just for a sanity check to make sure that was exactly what I had done and when I added the Agent parameter back into the stored procedure on the aw_db on the HDS, and updated the Anonymous Block Query in CUIC to send it, the Value List selection it remembered it from before and had already selected the Agent value list. Also under properties Key Criteria Field was already SkillTargetID. So I am confident those were the steps I took before as well.

Here's some docs I have related to this effort. It contains:

--The original Agent31 query from webview
--My stored procedure used to get around the LoginDateTime not coming across when the original Agent31 query is dropped in CUIC Anonymous Block, without agent parameter being accepted
--Report Definition export without agent parameter being set
    --Report export

Only issue is the agent list doesn't populate, as it exists in the attachment, all agents are returned. For my customer, didn't matter as they only had 115 total configured agents on their system, but if this was used elsewhere it would definitely be a concern.

    Rajesh,
I don't have that report converted but attached is the query used in webview (maybe somebody else has converted.).
I don't know how familiar you are with importing Webview Reports but you can follow these instruction:

Create the report definition and set the Query Type as "Anonymous Block", choose your data source as historical.
Paste the query string and don't change anything.
Click on Create Parameters (3 parameters will be created)
Change the @end_date and the @start_date parameters to DATETIME
Change the other parameter to DECIMAL
Click Create Fields (the fields will be created)
    Click on the Parameters Tab
    Select the DECIMAL parameter
    Click Edit
On the Value List drop down choose the corresponding value list (for this report is the Skill Group value List)
    Click Update Field
You can now play with the fields' formats and footers.
Create the Report and do your groupings (for this report you probably need only one grouping; by Skill Grou).

Let me know if it works, this report seems a bit involved.

com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.businesslogic.datasource.CuicDbException: DbException: CuicDataSourceServiceManagerImpl.getDataSet() { Nested SQLException; SQLState: S0001 Vendor code: 8134 Message: Divide by zero error encountered. } at com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.businesslogic.datasource.CuicDataSourceServiceManagerImpl.getDataSetBuilder(CuicDataSourceServiceManagerImpl.java:884) at com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.businesslogic.engine.CuicDataProcessingCenterWorkerRunnable.runReport(CuicDataProcessingCenterWorkerRunnable.java:297) at com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.businesslogic.engine.CuicDataProcessingCenterWorkerRunnable.run(CuicDataProcessingCenterWorkerRunnable.java:117) at com.cisco.ccbu.infra.threads.InstrumentedRunnable.run(InstrumentedRunnable.java:88) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.runTask(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:886) at java.util.concurrent.ThreadPoolExecutor$Worker.run(ThreadPoolExecutor.java:908) at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619) at com.cisco.ccbu.infra.threads.ThreadPoolThread.run(ThreadPoolThread.java:164) Caused by: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: Divide by zero error encountered. at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException.makeFromDatabaseError(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerStatement.getNextResult(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerPreparedStatement.doExecutePreparedStatement(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerPreparedStatement$PrepStmtExecCmd.doExecute(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.TDSCommand.execute(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerConnection.executeCommand(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerStatement.executeCommand(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerStatement.executeStatement(Unknown Source) at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerPreparedStatement.executeQuery(Unknown Source) at com.mchange.v2.c3p0.impl.NewProxyPreparedStatement.executeQuery(NewProxyPreparedStatement.java:76) at com.cisco.ccbu.cuic.businesslogic.datasource.CuicDataSourceServiceManagerImpl.getDataSetBuilder(CuicDataSourceServiceManagerImpl.java:847) ... 7 more

Its happening when you are selecting a big duration for example a duration of 10hours, i have checked in the source script of the error html file it looks like the below
    <script src="/cuic/cues_utility/cues_taglib.js" language="JavaScript"></script><script>cuesKnownLocation='/cuic/';cuesImageFolder='cues_images';cuesIconFolder='cues_icons';cuesVersion='61';cuesXslSkin='base';cuesImageSuffix='';</script><link href="/cuic/tigra/tree.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /><script src="/cuic/tigra/tree.js" language="JavaScript"></script><script src="/cuic/tigra/cuesDrawer_tree_tpl.js" language="JavaScript"></script><script src="/cuic/tigra/tree_tpl.js" language="JavaScript"></script><script src="/cuic/cues_utility/cues_fonts.js" language="JavaScript"></script><link id="cuesCSS" href="/cuic/cues_utility/cues_taglib.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" /><script src="/cuic/cues_utility/cues_drawn.js" language="JavaScript"></script><script>msgInvalidData="Invalid data has been entered";msgNoncontiguousReorder="You can only reorder selected rows that are contiguous";altExpandDrawer="Expand";altCollapseDrawer="Collapse";altExpandNav="Expand Navigation Pane";altCollapseNav="Collapse Navigation Pane";altExpandTree="Expand tree item";altCollapseTree="Collapse tree item";altLeafTree="Leaf";altWizardStepErrorState="Wizard step contains 1 or more errors";altTabErrorState="Tab contains 1 or more errors";msgEmptyRow="No data to display";altExpandPane="Expand";altCollapsePane="Collapse";altRestorePane="Restore";altInformationalMessage="Informational message";altCriticalErrorMessage="Critical error message";altErrorMessage="Error message";altWarningMessage="Warning message";altSuccessMessage="Success message";var cuesMaskeditFormatError = new Array();cuesMaskeditFormatError["time2"]="The entered time must be in the range of 1:00 to 12:59";cuesMaskeditFormatError["netmask"]="A valid netmask consists of four numbers (0-255) separated by periods, e.g. 123.0.255.3";cuesMaskeditFormatError["ipv6mask"]="Invalid data has been entered";cuesMaskeditFormatError["miltime2"]="The entered time must be in the range of 0:00 to 23:59";cuesMaskeditFormatError["mac"]="A valid MAC address is nn:nn:nn:nn:nn:nn where the 'n's are either digits (0-9) or letters (A-F)";cuesMaskeditFormatError["ipv6"]="A valid IPv6 address is n:n:n:n:n:n:n:n where the 'n's are either digits (0-9) or letters (A-F)";cuesMaskeditFormatError["ipv4"]="A valid IPv4 address consists of four numbers (0-255) separated by periods, e.g. 123.0.255.3";</script>

    Hi Rajesh

As Ram says its a divide by zero error - I thought I'd caught all these but it looks like asa is the cause.
I've updated the definition and attached to this, give that a try and should fix your problem.

    Cheers

    Rajesh,

You can also try by adding the following lines at the very beginning of the definition query. This will make it ignore the divide by zero errors.

    SET ARITHABORT OFF
    SET ANSI_WARNINGS OFF

    Hello All.

Maybe this thread goes a way back long but i figure out how to migrate the webview reports to Database query (not anonymus block) so that we can use the historical dates.
1- As everyone almost posted , we have to copy the query from the srd files that is available in the custom folder on the webview server, paste the query into a notepad , seach for a value 112 (it is always beside the  datetime value) changed it to 101
2- delete everything is relative to the parameters (usually comes in the where like this  ( ASGHH.DateTime >= :start_datetime) )
3- also delete anything that has the : value
after you validate you can then have the historical values updated from the properties tab to have the dates as it is in the webview.

of course don't forget to add the values relevant (calltypes , agent team , etc..) as a value list so that they can appear in the run of the script.

    Hopes this helps.

    Amer

    Hi,

Very useful discussion, thank you very much. I've standard license and I have imported all summary reports and are working fine, however I've observed that the totals per agent are always missing and this is something essential for the users at my company. For instance when running agent22 in WEbview, you will get the totals for each Skillgroup of each agent and at the very last row of each agent the total for all the calls handled for that agent. For every report in CUIC, either standard or the customs that have been uploaded like the summary ones, there total per agent is never shown.

Anyone could create a report showing this values? similar to agent22 in Webview?

    Thanks in advance!

    Isidro
