I can do a 'discovery' somewhere and have it return the energywise enabled devices?
for example I want to figure out which devices on 138.42.253.* are energywise enabled....is there a way to do that?
On a similar note, can I find out domains a management endpoint can see?
say I have a switch and I want to know what other domains it can see......
if I don't know my domain to start with, I'm pickled out of the gate....right?

Hi John,

From the management perspective, you would need to know the domain(s) ahead of time and a particular switch to communicate with in each domain (for the API).  This generally happens as part of the initial configuration along with the security credentials.  A switch can only be a member of a single domain.  However, a mangement application using the API could talk to any number of domains provided that it has the proper credentials and connectivity.

Regards,

Brock
