I have an WTI VMR endpoint, I do a query through the API
I'm using the ENERGYWISE_USAGE_CATEGORY_METER category
I get a power result, the 'name' that comes back seems to the same as the name of the first 'plug',
So I changed the name of the plug and I rerun the query and I get the same results.
Does the API or the switch (or even the WTI device itself maybe) cache query results?
or is there some refresh timer I can set somewhere to have it get new values?
I changed the name of the plug from its default and I eventually got it to see that new name but I changed it again and
now it seems stuck on the name that I gave it the first time....weird.

any ideas why I can't get updated values very often?

Hi Alka,

How are you going about changing the name on the VMR?  Are you doing this via EW set query or through the VMR's normal configuration process?

If from an EW set query, are you receiving a positive ACK from the plug when performing the query?

Thanks,

Brock
