How to get FULL User info

    Hi,

Was wondering if there is an easy way to get the FULL attribute response for a User entry ?

Currently I am doing the 'getGloberUsers' to get the list of User IDs and then cycling through each one of them using 'getUser'/<objectID>

For a large number of Users (say 100) this mechanism is not optimal.

    Thanks!
    Arvind

For performance reasons we do not fill out the full attributes of a user when multiple users are being retrieved.

Would that have any throttling kick in from the CUC server side - if I try to access those user attributes in a muti-threaded environment ?

For e.g. if I have 10,000 users - can I create 100 threads and connect to the server where each thread gets 100 users each ?

Or may be my real question should be - what ALL kinds of throttling mechanism is there on the CUC server side.  Didn't find enough information on this from the available docs.

    Thanks!

Hi Arvind ¿ the throttle is going to limit you to a handful (5 or so) concurrent requests, and since they all end up hitting the database anyway I don¿t think you will get any better performance by making requests on multiple threads.

...hmmm.... looks like that way !

Our experiments showed that a single thread retrieving 10K user data (full data set, not the abridged ones) - took 10 min. And with 5 Threads (which seems to be the max we could use) it took 7-8 minutes.

Are there any other Objects which comes in two flavors like the Users (abridged and full dataset) ?   Like COS or Mailbox ??

    Thanks!
