    Hi Experts,

I have a question about "Management Network" portgroup which is pre-configured to VLAN 0.
Beta Installation and configuration guide mentioned "Do not modify the Management Network port group."

However, If we configure sm x/1 is trunk, we need to configure VLAN ID for this portgroup.
Is my understanding correct? If yes, are there any plan to add direction to guide?
Installation and configuration guide doesn't mentioned about that, so I stuck to build up reachability to ESXi management network... So I think we may well add direction to guide.

    Regards,
    Minako

    Hi Minako,

In sm 1/1 interface, the switchport mode of trunk should be specified so that vlan tagging can be used.
With IOS release 15-1.3t1, the vlan 1 interface should also contain the ip of the mgf default gateway or an ip on the same subnet of this gateway.  More information is provided in our documentation copy "Installation and Configuration Guide" in section "Configuring the Cisco SRE Service Module Interfaces".  You can download these docs from the knowledge base.   http://developer.cisco.com/web/srev/docs.

    Thanks,
