    Hi all,

I've got some strange issues with some devices when setting the Expires-HTTP-Header. I've set it to -1 to prevent the page to be on the stack.

On IP Communicator (7.0.3), this header seems to be completely ignored- no matter what the Header is set to, the page always remains on the stack.

On a 7940 or 7960, the phone displays just the XML source as text as soon as the Expires-Header is set.

On a 7942, everything seems working fine.

Does anyone has seen similar issues and found a way around it?

    thanks in advance

    Joerg

Per the RFC, -1 is not actually a truly valid value for the Expires header - though it is commonly honored by many clients.  I have seen some IP phones have problems with this, you might try giving a valid time value, e.g. the same timestamp as the Date header to indicate immediate expiry.
