    Hi all,

I'm trying to find a way to develop a script for a Cisco gateway that would serve the following purpose, similar to a "hot-line" or "emergency multiconference" service:

    - A certain user would dial a certain number (that associated with the app).
    - The TCL script would then open several call legs to different, pre-defined numbers of relevant people, and conference them in with the initial leg automatically as they answer.
    - These numbers should not be dialed manually by the caller: they MUST be either pre-defined in some variable within the script or configurable via CLI from the router IOS, but once configured they must be the same list of numbers each and every time the app is addressed.
    - The script should monitor call leg status and finish the conference call once every participant has disconnected, but not before.

I found several examples of TCL scripts on CCO,  but none matchng this precise need or conferencing.

Is this possible with TCL scripts? How could we get some support on this development?
    Many thanks in advance!

    Pablo.

    Hi Pablo,

As TCL script can create multiple call legs but able to bridge only two call legs at a time,So i think bridging more than 2 legs is not possible
Apart from that we will be able to develop this script
    Thanks
    Vijay

    Vijay...

I don't normally resurect old threads like this, but has CCO built up such a script, one that would bridge two legs.  This would be a great tool in "conferenceing" (or bridging as it might be) IP paging and the Valcom 2003A (FXO-style) paging.

It works if you press the appropriate buttons, but I don't know how to gin up such a script.

    Thank you!

    Hi Pablo
I would like to solve very similar situation as you described. Have you fixed the issue?

    Regards Miroslav

This is an interested topic. Maybe we can utilize CUCME Meetme (unlocked) feature for this.

For example, caller A call a conference number, Tcl script will call out  B(1001) and C(1002) (number is configured via Tcl param) once they answer they will be connected to conference bridge.

First we configure a Meetme conference bridge number, say 9999 for Tcl application.

    In Tcl script,

First we setup incoming leg to 9999

    leg setup 9999 callinfo leg_incoming

when we get setup done event we setup 2 outgoing legs to the destination 9999

    leg setup 9999 callinfo
    leg setup 9999 callinfo

When we get the setup done we save the legid, once we get two of them (2 setup done event) we setup 2 outgoing legs to B and C

    leg setup 1001 callInfo
    leg setup 1002 callInfo

once we get the setup done event we can connect these legid to legid we got from leg setup 9999 callinfo

after that 3 parties will be in conference.

We will have many call setup done events in different states so we need to manage state machine properly.

    Hope this helps

    Hi Steven,

it is possible to create conference for more than two legs, please refer Yawming Post where he  is explained indetail.

    Thanks,
    Raghavendra

It needs DSP resource. If you have enough resource sure you can have more than 2 legs.
