    Hi all developers,
When accessing CUPS 7.0.4 via AXL SOAP we get a "The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized" error back. The code is working for CUPS 7.0.2 and for all CUCM versions. The code is in use for the Uplinx Report Tool to generate documentation and it is causing grief for our customers with the latest CUPS 7.0.4.
According to the release notes nothing has changed between CUPS 7.0.2 and 7.0.4 to the SOAP API.....Anyone has some advice ? It seems that the authentication is broken in 7.0.4. There are no entries in the SOAP monitor.
--- Further investigation on Friday 28 August ---
A trace of the Cisco AXL Service via RTMT contains:
    2009-08-27 20:04:49,481 INFO  [http-8443-3] axl.AXLRouter - AXL servlet is initializing

Even when setting the database to 7  (so that sVersion is sVERSION : 70 in the trace) has the same exception.
Seems like this is a bug in AXL for CUPS 7.0.4 (when AXL calls for Authorization). Has anything changed how to pass the userid/pswd into this API ? Is there a workaround or fix from Cisco ?
Anyone ? Has anyone succeeded in AXL to CUPS version 7.04 ?

    Hi Michael,
We are having the same issue here.
I will investigate some more and let you know if I find anything.
