    In Cisco IP Phone 7975 model the touch Area is not working properly .
    I have used CiscoIPPhoneMenu object with three menu items.
    If i use the numbers it is working correctly .But the touch area is not working.
    The touch Area is working correctly if i select the  directory button or the settings button first  and then press
    the menu items.

    Thanks
    Joby

    Can you provide the actual XML object sent to the phone?  Have you validated it against the IPPS .xsd file (see the Docs section?)

    Also helpful may be a network packet capture, made from the phone's extra PC switch port.

    I validate with IPPS .xsd. It was successful .

    The following is the xml i am sending.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    The XML object itself looks OK from what you provided.  For the network packet capture:

    - Connect a PC to the test phone's extra PC switch port.  Ensure this port is not disabled in UCM web admin.
    - Use a packet capture tool like Wireshark (http://www.wireshark.org/) on the PC to capture all network traffic on the NIC attached to the phone
    - Run the test scenario, from phone boot up through the failure and success sequences
    - Stop and save the packet capture

    Please also provide the exact mechanism by which you are displaying this XML object, along with exact key sequences for reproducing the problem and workaround steps.
