    User #DEVICENAME# in the URL. For example, if the url is http://ip/weather?device=#DEVICENAME#, it will appear as http://ip/weather?device=SEP123456789 when the phone will request the URL.
     
    Another way is to get the IP address of the incoming request and do a look up on the phone list that you already have saved in your application (i.e via AXL request you already have imported a phone list from CUCM).
     
    We use the 2nd approach in PhoneTop products as we maintain and regularly synchronize the phone list with CUCM.

    But I was faced with this problem: If I find out the IP of the phone,how can I deduce the phone's name? I am using the data tables in the CallManager. I looked into the "device" table , but couldn't find an IP field
