Is it possible to customize the diplay of "Corporate Directory" when selecting the Directories key on the Ciso phone. In CUCM 4.x we were able to change the display to read "Firm Directory". We would like to keep the same display if possible.

    Thanks

In CM7 this is easy to do in the UCM Admin: Devices/Phone Services.  The built-in services will be listed, and you can modify the user-facing descriptions.

For CM4, you may have been able to manually modify the Corporate Directory web site files on the CCM itself (though this is not officially supported.)  In CM5/6, with the appliance model it is not possible to directly modify these files.

Note, it is possible - using an external web server - to replace the default on-board Directories XML page (sent to phone when the Directories button is pushed) with a custom version.  If all you wanted to do was modify the service name, this would be pretty straight forward.

Using the full IP Phone Services SDK you could of course rewrite a new directory app to be named anything and perform any functions you needed.

Hmm, this is the direct link to the download I was referring to: http://developer.cisco.com/c/document_library/get_file?folderId=45945&name=DLFE-6073.zip&redirect=http%3A%2F%2Fdeveloper.cisco.com%2Fweb%2Fipps%2Fdocs%3Fp_p_id%3Ddoc_library_summary_portlet_WAR_doclibrarysummaryportlet_INSTANCE_c0FN%26p_p_lifecycle%3D0%26p_p_state%3Dnormal%26p_p_mode%3Dview%26p_p_col_id%3Dcolumn-1%26p_p_col_pos%3D1%26p_p_col_count%3D2

As far as I know it doesn't have any special restrictions.  If you are still experiencing the problem let me know.  A potential workaround could be to use the 'Sign In' link at the top of the page - you may need to create a Cisco.com guest user account.  That may or may not help.
