Call Ringing Indefinetely

    I am using CRS protocol version 10 and CRS Release 5.0 with Call Manager 4.1.  I am using bridge mode to connect to CRS session. I am having a issue that whenever a Call Delivered event is received,that is call is ringing on agent, and if agent doesn't accept a call for quite some time,  the call drops from IP Communicator but there is no indication or event (call connection cleared event) in CRS protocol  that suggest the call  has been dropped .

    You would not receive a call connection cleared as the connection was
    never established.

    I would expect an endcall event and/or agent moving from reserved to
    notready state, but I suggest you review a detailed MIVR log to
    determine this.  If you require assistance reviewing the log, please
    open a Service Request using your Developer Services contract and attach
    a detailed MIVR log to the case.

    i wonder why i receive Call connection cleared event when the consult call is in ringing and either if transfer is completed via trasfer_call_req request or consult call is dropped from the initiator. Here also the connection is not completed yet  i recieve such events????

    If a transfer is completed the connection to the original callee is
    cleared.  If a consult call is dropped the consult call connection is
    cleared.   This would be expected.  A call that was only delivered
    (altering) but never established willl not have a connection to clear.

    what if the consult call is dropped while ringing  from the initiator (only call delivered event has recieved to caller and callee )  ? I am getting call_connection_cleared event on both the parties.

    This does not seem consistent, as you point out.  If you open a Service
    Request using your Developer Services contract and attach a detailed
    MIVR log showing that connection cleared is received for a consult call
    that is never answered but not for a inbound call that is never
    answered, I can submit that as a bug.  Be sure to priovide callids and
    agentids and timeframes for the callis for each scenario.
