    Hi everyone,

    I am totally new to AXL. I know we can use HTTP POST to send request to CallManager server, just like:

    POST :8443/axl
    Host: axl.myhost.com:80
    Accept: text/*
    Authorization: Basic bGFycnk6Y3VybHkgYW5kIG1vZQ==
    Content-type: text/xml
    Content-length: 613

    But, where to put these code, how to execute it ?

    Thank you!

    Check out this link.. it should help you get started: http://developer.cisco.com/web/axl/start

    In your example, you just need to post the AXL SOAP command as content of the POST and off you go.

    hi stephen,

    Thank you for your answer. But my question is not about the structure of the code, I just want to know how to use http post to send a request. Should I just put all the code into a plain text and save it as an html, then i can send the request to the server? Could you give me more details about how to execute the code, not how to write the code? And please tell me the process to get some information from call mamager step by step. I appreciate very much!

    Bests,
