I have a Cisco 7945 ip phone which display Hebrew in all menus.

Under services I've created an Hebrew directory option which the user can search for an Hebrew conact name (remote D and display it on the screen for dialing.

The CiscoIPPhoneInput XML is sent to the 7945 (with the inputFlags=A) and the user enter the Hebrew char to search for a name.

The  problem is that the 7945 sends the encoded url to my server app as search_name=%3F for each non-ASCII char and not the correct url encoding code for the Hebrew char.
I've looked for a non-ASCII inputFlag (other than A) and couldn't find other then T-N-E.

How can I pass the right non-ASCII url encoding from CiscoIPPhoneInput ?

    Regards

    Assaf

Sounds like it could be an issue with localization and XSI interaction.  Can you attach a network packet capture (Wireshark) from a PC connected to the phone PC switch port?  Please include full sequence from phone start up through test run.
