My customer wants to create an IP Phone Service that will let them interface into the AgileTrac Asset Management System to find hospital supplies such as wheelchairs, IV Pumps, Infusion Pumps, ect.  AgileTrac is a GE Healthcare software and is used by major hospitals, it operates on RFID tagging.
AgileTrac says they can support Web Services, so I don't see why we couldn't create a Web Service that does some kind of database dip to find the item and then display on the phone a location.
I am looking for recommendations or examples to the best way to accomplish this request.  Thanks for your help
Here is a link to AgileTrac

This is certainly possible.  I don't have any knowledge of AgileTrac and its capabilities, but you can take a look at the many sample applications in the IP Phone Services SDK - perhaps the 'UPS' sample may be somewhat close to what you want to accomplish.

    Hi Mike,
I'm the chief engineer for the AgileTrac product at GE and may be able to assist here. We are currently working with Cisco on an integration between AgileTrac and Cisco IP Phones to enable some of our workflow modules. This project is the result of a shared customer request that we may be able to leverage for the project you are discussing. I'm not sure if this is the same project we are currently working on or a new one that wasn't on the radar so perhaps we should chat about it and find the best way to move forward.
