Hi, can someone help me please? What I am trying to do should be really easy but for some reason so far it is beating me

Basically I need to perform so Push actions to a C7911. I can send ExecuteItem Softkeys etc and simulate both softkeys and keypad actions (i.e. when I send a Key:KeyPad5 the phone correctly displays 5 as if the user dialled it).

The problem specifically i have is that I am unable to get the 7911 to virtually push the application key which takes you to:
    1-Messages
    2-Directories
    3-Settings
    4-Services
    5-Help

I would have thought it was something like Key:NavRight but none of the following seem to work. I have checked the latest XSI documentation (the stuff below is from 7.1.2)

I have tried using the inits, but my understanding is that they close the application if not open, and do not do anything otherwise?

Are you suggesting I have to do all 3 first and then something else? I have sort of tried that anyway even though I didnt really think it would have worked (and it didnt seem to unless there is a specific set of functions and order!)

This must be something obvious? Anyone else can help? Cisco are you here?

    Hey Nigel,

So from what I understand, you need to push the Applications key on the 7911? I see you've checked the documentation but didn't mention trying out the Key:AppMenu
    - the resulting XML to POST to the phone would look like:

    <CiscoIPPhoneExecute><ExecuteItem URL="Key:AppMenu"></ExecuteItem></CiscoIPPhoneExecute>

There is also an Key:Applications execute command but I believe this does the same thing. Also - there are further application key presets that can trigger these apps directly:

    Key:Messages

    Key:Services
    Keyirectories

They are all listed as compatible with the 7911. As you're able to execute KeyPad actions, we know that the script is authenticating OK with the phone. Am I along the right lines with the AppKey suggestion?

    Thanks,
    Matt

I'm new with callmanager and people want to use a company background on the phones.
So I found  the way to upload the images on the callmanager but now I have to push keys an all the phones so I want it done automatically.

I found all sorts of information about this an the different keys but I can't seem to get it executed.
Can someone help me with this?
I see that Nigal has it working (at least for displaying a 5), so maybe you can post the XML script and how I should execute it.

    Any help is welcome

    thanks
    Ger
