I am using the AXLAPI for CUCM 7.1.3 and I can't seem to figure out how to configure phone buttons to be associated with a directory number or multiple directory numbers.  Can someone point me in the right direction on how to do this?  I am basically looking for the AXL equivalent to the Cisco IOS config-ephone "button" command.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If it helps at all, the phone model I am using currently is the Cisco 7961.

The CUCM does not support multiple lines on a single button as the CUCME does. You can only have one line per button. In order to assign a line the phone button template must be configured for that. The Standard 7961 SCCP template has button 1 and 2 as lines, and the others as Speed Dials. If you need more lines you have to create and assign a different template to your phone. This can be done through AXL with the addPhoneTemplate element. You assign the template when creating or updating the phone with the phoneTemplate element and then set the values for the individual lines in the lines element.
    Kind regards,
