    Hi Solomon,

As of now, .swf files are not supported in Cisco IP Phones.

    Thanks and Regards,

That is much more possible.  The Idle URL could point to a web server URL that returned a CiscoIPPhoneImage/ImageFile object, setting the Refresh: header to load the next image's URL after X seconds.  E.g.:

    HTTP/1.1 200 ok
    Refresh: 10; url=http://www.example.com/getNextImage.php

I have the idle url working. I am not sure how to set the refresh to go to the next picture? Can you please explain a bit in detail how to get this working.
    Thanks,
    Solomon

The end result you want is to get the HTTP header 'Refresh:' added to your response to the phone:

    Refresh: 10; url=http://www.example.com/getNextImage.php

How to do that depends on what CGI platform you are using on your application web server.  See this link for an example using PHP:

    http://www.desilva.biz/php/phprefresh.html

Note, the URL you provide needs to be to the next image (i.e. CiscoIPPhoneImage/ImageFile) you want to display.

There is an .asp based sample that does something like this in the IP Phone Services SDK: http://developer.cisco.com/web/ipps/docs

Thanks David for pointing me to the IP Phone Services SDK. I used the ¿pngviewer¿ as IP phone service and set the parameter refresh to 10 and it worked, the pictures changed very 10 sec.
I want to achieve the same result not as a phone service but when the phone is idle. I used the same url that I used in phone service and pasted in the idle url and got the phone to display the first picture.
What do I edit in the pngviewer.asp to get the pictures refresh every 10 sec? The file is attached.
As you tell I have no idea about scripting. I very much appreciate your help.
    Thanks,
    Solomon

I think all you should need to do is add the refresh parameter to the URL you have in the Idle URL box:

    http://myserveraddress/jpegviewer.asp?refresh=10

This is handled automatically by the parameters function when you provision as a service, but you have to do it manually for an Idle URL.

    Hi David,
Is it possiable to remove the blue border that has the file name "Oak.png"? or hide the file name? Please see the attached picture.
    Thanks,
    Solomon
