    Hi folks,

is there a way to get a list of all available huntlists oder huntpilots from the cucm?
I would like to try it vie JTAPI oder the better way, vie AXL.

Does anyone have a clue how to do this?

The problem is: I need to allocate specific device names into a database based on there organisation wihtin huntpilots, huntlists and linegroups. Therefore I guess I need a way to start to go through all avaliable huntpilots, check out the huntlists then get all the linegroups and look for the devices in the groups.
Does anyone have done anything like that before?

Would be nice to hear from you guys!

    Cheers
    Peter

    Hi Peter

To get a list of HuntLists use
SELECT pkid, name, description FROM Device WHERE name LIKE '$Name%' and (tkModel = 90) AND (tkProduct = 110)</sql>

to retrieve HuntPilots you have to use

    <sql>SELECT * FROM NumPlan WHERE DnOrPattern LIKE '"+ dn +"%' AND tkPatternUsage = '7'</sql>

There is no AXL method like listHuntList.

    Kind regards

    Axel

p.s. it is part of JAVA, but intressting is the sql select.

The upcoming 8.0 API will bring more list operations - but it's always useful to know the SQL database. You can never rule out you won't have to access the DB at some point and in order to extract only exactly what you need, it's the most effective way.

    Dear Peter,

I need to do something similar to what you mention. Were you able to assing specific phones (SEPxxxxxxxxx) to a hunt list?
I suppose that you were in the same need as I am now. I have several phones in each office and a hunt group per site. The fix extension of each phone is member of the hunt group. Now we want that the users can move from one site to the other and log into the phones using Extension Mobility. They can log into any office. Everytime a user does login into an office I need to:
    - Associate his extension into the specific hunt list of that office. If it was previously part of other list I whould remove it from the list.
    - Change its external phone mask.
Thank you very much for your kind help. Best regards,

    Hi Amaia,

the problem in my situation was, that i only had to read information from the database. I was not forced to write them to the database whereas in your case you would edit information on the fly in the database. Nevertheless that should be possible with AXL as well.

You will find the documentation for the AXL API and the tables which are used for this in the documentation for developer here:

    http://developer.cisco.com/web/axl/docs

Thats the way I would try to do it:

    - Get the huntlists and put them into variables
    - Try to get the MAC address of the phone and the corresponding mobility extension
    - Look for the hunt list where the phone is located
    - Remove it ( SQL Delete )
    - Add it to new hunt list (SQL Insert Into )

You will find a way how to create SOAP headers in JTAPI in other threads!

If you need further help, let me know and I try to help!

    Cheers
    Peter
