Cisco Nexus Switches support Autoconfiguration using Configuration Profiles. A Configuration Profile is a small CLI template that gets applied automatically by the switch when triggered by an event such as a VM deployment.
This allows you to automate Nexus Fabrics from OpenStack, UCS Director and other orchestration mechanisms or user-defined scripts using REST APIs.
This space is a repository for sharing and discussing updated Configuration Profiles for various automation/orchestration scenarios. For example: Autoconfiguration of VXLAN VNIs in response to a VM/Instance deployment.
